Ingredients
- 2 cups Gluten-free flour blend
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Unsalted butter Cold and cut into small pieces
- 1 cup Milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the glutenfree flour blend, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Cut the butter into the flour mixture by hand or with a pastry cutter until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
- Gradually stir in the milk until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough gently a few times on a lightly floured surface.
- Pat the dough into a 1-inch-thick round.
- Cut the dough into circles using a biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass.
- Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
- Let the biscuits cool for a few minutes before serving.
