Ingredients
- 4 Bone-in pork chops
- Salt and pepper To taste
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cups Unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp Allspice
- 1/4 cup Fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 cup Chicken broth
Instructions
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat oliveoil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Addpork chops and cook for 5–6 minutes per side oruntil cooked through.
- In a separate saucepan, combine applesauce, honey,cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, orange juice, andchicken broth. Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until the mixture thickens and isthoroughly heated.
- Serve pork chops with applesauce on top.
